Clinton County Fair Council Chairman Jamie Blacker has announced an agreement between the fair council and Kaspar Broadcasting Company. As part of the agreement, WILO Radio, 1570 AM and 96.9 FM, Frankfort, will broadcast its morning talk show, “Party Line”, each weekday morning during the county fair. The live broadcast will also be available world-wide on the WILO Live Stream at the “Blue Bouncing Bars” on Clinton County Daily News. The daily broadcast from the fairgrounds begins at 8:30 a.m. daily and airs again at 5 p.m. and midnight each day.
The agreement provides for interview opportunities during the week with key individuals involved in the fair. Blacker says, “the public is invited to be in the audience for these daily broadcasts.” The programs will also be recorded and available world-wide all week long at Clinton County Daily News under the “on the air” tab.
Blacker also announced that WILO’s sister station, WSHW, Shine 99, will be the title sponsor for the day’s activities on Friday, July 13. In conjunction with that sponsorship, Blacker says, “the fair council has granted Kaspar Broadcasting the opportunity to sponsor special wrist-band pricing on the midway that evening. Details will be announced soon for Shine 99/WILO Buddy Night. Ride all the rides Friday Night for $10.00 each if you and your buddy each have a Free Shine 99/WILO sticker. The station will be announcing where you can pick up your “Buddy Night” stickers soon.
The 2018 Clinton County & 4-H Fair is July 7-15-2018. The fairgrounds is located at 1701 South Jackson Street, Frankfort, Indiana.
