Patricia Ann Washam, 60, passed away Monday morning, June 26, 2023, at her home in Kirklin, Indiana, surrounded by her family. She was born December 15, 1962, in Lebanon, Indiana, a daughter of the late William T. and Della M. (Allen) Vann.
On December 26, 2002, she was married to John Washam, Sr. in Brown County, Indiana; he survives.
Patty attended Sheridan High School. She worked for five years at the Dollar General Store in Sheridan and many other places such as Potato Supply and AES in Kirklin. She loved her family and their family days, and she loved animals of all kinds. In her free time, Patty enjoyed crafting, painting, ceramics, and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband: John Washam, Sr.; four children, Joshua (Michelle) Collins of Frankfort, Layce (other half, Darryl Shoe) Collins of Pickard, Nolan (Heaven) Collins of Peru, and Britany Washam of Kirklin; stepchildren, Johnny Washam, Chasity Washam, Jason Washam, and Jeremy Washam; eight grandchildren, Tristan Heise, Hailey Thompson, Lauren Collins, Haiden Walters, Kyler Collins, Everett Skelton, Caeden Collins, and Cameron Collins; brother, Billy (Debbie) Vann; sisters, Sharon (David) Snodgrass, Beverly (Terry Winslow) Vann, Rebecca (Keith) Eldridge, Lisa (Kevin) Leach; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Vann.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery north of Lebanon.
