Patricia D. “Patsy” Scott, 79, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. She was born February 2, 1942, in Frankfort, to William and Mary (Curnutt) Spear. On September 2, 1960, she married Roy E. Scott; he passed away on December 25, 2013.
Patsy graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1960 then attended beauty school. She had worked for the Clinton County Hospital as the business service manager then later obtained her real estate license and worked for Cory & Southern Realty. Patsy enjoyed playing cards but more importantly enjoyed spending time with her family; they were her everything. She also enjoyed attending church in Frankfort.
Patsy is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Ted) Orem of Frankfort; a son, Roy E. “Scotty” (DeAnn) Scott, II of Frankfort; foster daughters, Teddi, Diane (Betty) and Toni (Tommy); five grandchildren, Evan, Amy (husband, Brody) Kirby, Ashlyn, Courtney (husband, Michael) Clouser, and Cameron; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Along with her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by sisters, Sue French and Janet Johnson; brother, Chuck Spear; and a foster daughter, Rita.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with Pastor Shan Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorials in Patsy’s name may be made to the Paul Phillippe Resource Center 401 W. Walnut St. Frankfort, IN 46041.
