Patricia Jean McQuinn, 82, of Forest passed away September 7, 2026 at Wesley Manor Senior Community in Frankfort, Indiana. She was born to George and Betty (Stong) Blackburn May 28, 1944 in Lafayette, Indiana.
Pat was a 1961 graduate of Clinton Central High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Purdue University. She then dedicated her life to serving the Central community as a teacher and administrator. While teaching at Clinton Central, she pursued and earned her master’s degree in administration from Ball State University. During her forty-six-year career in education, Pat remained a lifelong Bulldog, faithfully serving both the school where she began her career and the surrounding community. She attended Michigantown Christian Church and served as a Forest Township Trustee, a member of the Michigantown Library Board, and a member of the Michigantown Township Advisory Board. Pat also volunteered as a Pink Lady for many years.
Pat is survived by: her daughter, Stephanie (Dyan) McQuinn of Franklin; her son, Matthew (Kortney) McQuinn of Forest; her grandchildren, Keegan and Kennedy Turner-McQuinn, Hannah and Macie McQuinn, Anthony, Ana, and Alexander Acosta, and Kendall and Kane Flickinger; and her sister-in-law, Pat Blackburn of Maryville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Betty; and her brothers, John Blackburn and George Michael Blackburn.
A private family burial will take place at Middlefork Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1-3 p.m. September 20 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.
