Patricia “Pat” Lynn Davis, 76, of Rossville, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at The Springs at Lafayette. Pat was born on December 10, 1946, in Frankfort, to Herman R. and Helen L. (Wood) Hitch. She married Jerry W. Davis on November 11, 1989, at Oxford, Indiana; he preceded her in death on September 30, 1996.
Pat was a 1965 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. She worked at State Farm in West Lafayette as an underwriting assistant for 35 plus years. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and traveling but more importantly enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs, Holly and Dodger.
Pat is survived by her sister, Linda B. (Dale) Ward of Lafayette and Karen S. Jaggers of Lebanon; brother, Timothy R. Hitch of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews on both sides.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Pamela F. McDowell; and a brother-in-law, Wink Jaggers.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 2-3pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel followed by the funeral service at 3pm. Pastor Steven Jaggers will officiate. Burial will follow in Fair Haven Cemetery at Mulberry. Memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s honor to the American Cancer Society or the Clinton County Humane Society.
