Mrs. Patricia F. Ellis, 90, passed away at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 9, 1933, a daughter of the late Robert Andrews and Mildred (Owens) Andrews.
Patty was a 1952 graduate of Short Ridge High School in Indianapolis.
On September 4, 1953, she was married to Frank Leonard Ellis in Indianapolis; he preceded her in death on May 9, 2018.
Patty was employed at AAA Hoosier Motor Club for 16 years and she had helped with her husband’s business.
Patty enjoyed working puzzles, watching soap operas, and reading. Most of all, she found joy in spending time with her loved ones and creating cherished memories that will forever be treasured. Patty’s love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Jennifer) Ellis of Lebanon, Indiana and Tammy (John) Benagh of Lebanon, Indiana; grandchildren, Lee Ellis, Kyle (Michelle) Ellis, Lauren Ellis, Andrew (Kate) Benagh, and Ashlee Mitchell; great grandchildren, Adylynn, Jaxon, Kyler, Rex, and Kane; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Andrews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Clements and brother, Robert “Bob” Andrews.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
