Patrica “Pat” Joan Meade, 83, of Flora, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Delphi. She was born October 26, 1942, in Flora to Russell and Bernice (Miller) Wagoner. She married Charlie Meade on December 31, 1991. He preceded her in passing on January 13, 2008.
Pat was a graduate of Monroe Township High School, class of 1960. She owned and operated Pat’s Barn for over 25 years. She was a member of Flora Lions Club, Flora Community Club, Flora Senior Center Board, Carroll County Community Center Board, Monroe Township Alumni Association. She was an avid supporter of Carroll County FFA, Carroll High School Sports, and Purdue Sports. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, Carroll County and Flora memorabilia, and parades. She loved life to the fullest and loved helping others.
Surviving Pat are her children, Petra (Duane) Carter and Polly (Eric Batts) Redding; stepsons, Chris (Karen) Meade Craig (Jodi) Meade; sister, Shirley (Dr. Gordon) Wagoner; grandchild, Emilee (Kanaan) Pruitt; step grandchild Chase (Sydney) Meade; great grandchild, Blair Pruitt; and step great grandchildren Crewe, Statyn, Sutton, Cree, and Casey Meade.
Along with her husband Charlie, Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and a step grandson, Codey Meade.
Visitation will be held Saturday February 14, 2026, from 11am until the time of the service at 2pm at Victory Chapel in Flora. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel in Flora will assist with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
