After graduating high school, Paul served in the Army Air Force. He worked as a journeyman tool & die maker at Tenneco (Federal Mogul) in Frankfort for 37 years.
He married Paula Martin on June 28, 1984. Paul was a generous and handy man and was willing to help anyone he could. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed listening to old classic country music and karaoke, going to dances and events, spending time at the VFW and loved his family dearly.
Surviving Paul are his wife, Paula; their children, Julie (David) Pilkey and Pat (Stacy) Riley; grandchildren, Kristen (William) Robinson, Jordyn Kessler, Ashley (David) Lemelin, Taylor Riley, Nick Cook, Nathan Cook, and Sarah Pilkey; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Peggy Davis, Kay (Erick) Mann, Sylvia Prichard and Beverly VanSickle.
