The Paul Phillippe Resource Center is inviting community members to join a memorable three-day, two-night Shipshewana, Indiana Countryside Amish Adventure, scheduled for August 25–27, 2026. This immersive trip offers participants an opportunity to experience the heart of Amish country through guided tours, unique attractions, and traditional Amish meals.
Priced at $539 per person (double occupancy), the tour includes motorcoach transportation, comfortable lodging, several meals, and admission to multiple attractions. Travelers will depart from the Paul Phillippe Senior Resource Center at 401 W. Walnut St., Frankfort, at 8:00 a.m. on August 25.

Itinerary Overview
Day 1:
Guests travel aboard a deluxe motorcoach to Shipshewana, where they will enjoy a hearty Amish lunch and free time at the renowned Shipshewana Trading Place. The afternoon includes visits to local shops before checking into the hotel. Dinner will be provided at Das Dutchman Essenhaus, followed by time to explore the campus at leisure.
Day 2:
A full day of exploring Amish country begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by an immersive guided tour featuring factory visits, scenic stops, and firsthand experiences of Amish craftsmanship. The day concludes with a family-style Amish dinner and an evening performance at the Blue Gate Theatre.
Day 3:
Travelers visit Yoder’s Red Barn Shoppes and a bison ranch, where guests can enjoy a guided wagon tour. Afterward, the group departs for home, stopping to shop at E & S Sales and Yoder’s Meat & Cheese Co. before returning to Frankfort.
