Paw Pals 22nd Annual Wag-A-Thon Held Saturday

Paw Pals of Clinton County held its 22nd Annual Wag-A-Thon Saturday.

The rain may have dampened the surroundings….but it didn’t dampen the wag a thon participants’ spirit.

Some of the participants walked their own dogs. Several shelter residents were walked today. There were a few former shelter residents that participated as well. And there were others who just came out to enjoy the festivities.

The Wag-A-Thon is Paw Pals’ biggest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds benefit the homeless dogs and cats at the shelter by providing vet care for the sick and injured, medications and preventatives, food and other supplies, and anything else that can keep the shelter residents healthy and happy while they wait for their forever homes.

Paw Pals of Clinton County would like to thank everyone who came out today and all of the businesses & individuals that sponsored the event.

The members of Paw Pals of Clinton County are so appreciative & humbled by the support we receive year after year.

As Anne Frank said, “No one has ever become poor by giving.”

Hopefully next year Mother Nature will be in a better mood. Mark your calendars for the 3rd Saturday of May, 2023.
