WLFI is reporting that the person who was killed in Sunday night’s crash on State Road 26 has been identified. Jade Cook of Kokomo was the person killed in the crash on State Road 26 at County Road 850 East. He would have been 48 years old Tuesday.
The crash happened about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on State Road 26 and County Road 850 East. That’s between Middlefork and Russiaville in the far northeastern part of the county. Cook was trying to pass a semi and hit another car head on. He was killed instantly.
Three other people were injured in the crash and taken to area hospitals.
Deputies do not believe alcohol is a factor in the crash.
