Phillip L. Parker

Phillip L. Parker, 78, a longtime Clinton County resident, died January 17, 2022 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.  He was born July 9, 1943 in Clinton County to Russell L. & Mary Ellen (Coffman) Parker.  He married Diana K. Howe on November 28,1964 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on April 24, 2012.

Phill was a 1961 graduate of Frankfort High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He worked as a carpenter for Gill Construction for 10 years, was a Frankfort Police Officer from 1974-1978 and then was owner/operator of Parker Restoration in Frankfort. He formerly attended Hope United Methodist Church and Faith Family Ministries, both in Frankfort.

He is survived by his daughter: Deborah L. (Andrew) Mix of Frankfort, 2 sons:  Phillip Paul Parker of Bedford, IN and Rusty (Tammy) Parker of Panama City, FL, sister:  Ann (David) Hein of Mexico, 3 step-brothers:  Fred Herr of Forest, Ron Herr of Kokomo, Jack Herr of Spring, TX, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Linda Bushong and Cathy Herr, brothers, Von Parker, Chuck Parker and grandsons, Bryan Osbon and James Osbon.

Funeral Services:
