Phyllis Ann Kilgore, 98, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on July 18, 1925, in Marion, Indiana, a daughter of the late Ralph Malott and Orpha (Small) Malott.
On August 10, 1946, she was married to Max Kilgore in Marion, Indiana; he preceded her in death on June 5, 2020.
Phyllis graduated high school in Marion, Indiana and went on to graduate from Beauty College.
She was a devoted homemaker whose heart overflowed with love for her family. Phyillis will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her grandchildren, DeeAnn (David) Culley, Ryan Wood, and Matthew (Rebecca) Kilgore; nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Brown, and Janet Spencer; son-in-law, Wayne Wood; and daughter-in-law, Helen Kilgore.
In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her children, Linda A. Wood, and Mark K. Kilgore; sisters, Sheryl Malott, and Fern Malott; and brother, Harold Malott.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana. Myers Mortuary has been entrusted with her burial arrangements.
Memorials may be directed in her memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
