Clinton Central Lady Bulldogs fell to Pioneer in a close and exciting game 65-64.
The Bulldogs went to the locker room at half time down 15 points. They came back strong in final three minutes of third quarter and stayed with Pioneer and took the lead a couple times.
The Bulldogs came within one point after a one and one at the line.
The top scorers for the game for Clinton Central were Sara Parkinson with 29 points, Erika Robbins with 17, and Carly Davison adding 10.
Top scorers for Pioneer were Ashlynn Brooke with 28 points, Brooklyn Borges with 14, and Makenna Strycker adding 10.
The Bulldogs held Pioneer’s top scorer Ashlynn Brooke To 28 points, Ashlynn averages 35 points per game.
The JV Lady Bulldogs also fell to Pioneer by the score of 19-16.
Clinton Centrals Emily Long was top scorer with 8 points.
Pioneer top scorer was Mia McKaig with 9 points.
(4-1) Clinton Central will take on the Carroll Cougars Friday evening at CC.
