
Pirch’s score was three shots behind Tom Newton of Harrison and one behind runner-up Nic Hofman of Harrison. Rounding out the top five were Sean Buckley of Lafayette Central Catholic with a 76 and Ajani Johnson of Harrison at 81.
Pirch now moves on to regional play on Thursday at Sandy Pines Golf Club in Lake Central.
Harrison won the team title with a score of 312, 25 shots better than runner-up Central Catholic. West Lafayette was third at 346.
Scores and teams from the area included: Rossville (seventh at 379), Frankfort (eighth at 394), Clinton Prairie (ninth at 418) and Clinton Central (12th at 443).
