A library card is a key to endless entertainment. It allows you to read books, magazines, and newspapers, to watch movies and to listen to audiobooks at no cost to you. This month, it can give you even more if you “Play Your Card Right!” In celebration of September being National Library Card Sign-Up Month, you can use your library card at several local businesses during the month to receive special discounts. Support local businesses and your local library!
Participating businesses include Angry Donkey, Arni’s of Frankfort, BCS Boutique in Michigantown, Bridy’s Bakery, Clubhouse Barbers, Creekside Music, Ellis Jewelers, Flour Mill Bakery, Frankfort Nutrition, Gem City Junction, Graphics Guardian A Gerber Design Company, Greek’s Pizzeria, HalleluYah Way, Heather’s Flowers, Johnny V’s Pub, Main Street Grille, Milky Way, Moxie Mavens Boutique, Mulberry Pizza King, Pepe’s of Frankfort, Pizza Hut, Schulz IGA, Slabby’s Food & Freedom, Southfork in Mulberry, and Stellar Creations on Main.
Discounts will be offered Sept. 1–30, so sign up and “Play Your Card Right” with FCPL. If you have had a Frankfort library card for a long time or have just received a new one, you are eligible for these offers. The Frankfort Community Public Library encourages everyone who doesn’t already have a library card to come in and sign-up for one this September. You can now also apply for a card online at myfcpl.org/librarycard. Sign up for a card and you could win a prize!
