Police Arrest Frankfort Man for Domestic Violence

At approximately 8:17 p.m. on December 27, officers were dispatched to a domestic violence report in the 300 block of west Armstrong St.  Officer Joshua Ruben quickly arrived and was alerted to a male, 25-year-old Brian Vasquez, of Frankfort, had allegedly attacked a female and was attempting to leave.  Officer Ruben located Vasquez (who was wanted on a violation of probation warrant) and a foot pursuit ensued.  Vasquez ran to his residence where he continued in his attempt to evade arrest.  Vasquez was subsequently placed under arrest after continuing to physically resist officers inside the home.

Once Vasquez was secure, officers learned that the victim had multiple injuries.  Evidence of violence was documented and Vasquez was taken to the Clinton County Jail. The following are charges that will be requested of the Clinton County Prosecutor to file:  Resisting Law Enforcement, Domestic Battery, Criminal Confinement, Strangulation, Criminal Trespass and Possession of a Narcotic.
