Community members of all ages are invited to join Frankfort police officers at KJ’s Ice Cream Shop Saturday, June 9 at 2 p.m. for Cops and Cones.
According to Police Chief Troy Bacon, the goal of this first-time event is for residents and officers to get to know each other in an informal, pressure-free environment.
“We are looking forward to visiting with residents as we enjoy ice cream together on a hot summer day. Cops and Cones is designed as a fun, casual way for everyone to get to know each other, build a great rapport and support a wonderful new business in town; a win-win all the way around,” Bacon said.
KJ’s Ice Cream Shop is located at 58 West Clinton Street.
