Prairie Gophers Show Up At Sectionals; Boys Relay Team Sets New School Record

The Clinton Prairie Gophers track and field teams showed up at Sectionals with multiple Regional qualifying performances alongside a broken school record in the 4×800 Relay.

The girls’ team fought hard during their Sectional on Tuesday with Taylor Hornbeck winning the pole vault and Hyleigh Wilson advancing to Regionals in the 100-meter hurdles.

The boys continued the momentum on Thursday with the 4×800 team of Ethan Fleischhauer, Levi Ostler, Brayden Clawson and and Hayden Kemple breaking the Clinton Prairie school record during the Sectional.

The boys also saw Cayden Davis advance to Regionals in the high jump while Hayden Kemple set the Gophers on track with a winning run in the 3,200-meter run.
