Tuesday is Primary Election Day in Clinton County and across the state of Indiana. Three are three contested races in Clinton County. Those races stack up as follows:
Clinton County Commissioner District 1 — Incumbent Steve Woods against challenger Mark Timmons.
Clinton County Council (Vote for Three) — Incumbents Clark Beard, Jeff Chynoweth and Mike Hensley against challengers Frankie Crew and Lewis Wheeler.
Clinton County Coroner — Newcomer Josh Lee against newcomer Ed Cripe.
Monday is the last day for absentee voting in Clinton County for the primary. Voting will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Monday on the second floor of the Clinton County Courthouse.
Election Day voting on Tuesday will be held from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following locations: Community Schools of Frankfort Administration Building, Colfax Christian Church, Rossville Bennett Hall, Kirklin Town Hall, Michigantown Christian Church, EMA Building in Frankfort and Mulberry Police Station Garage.
Election results will be available on WILO-AM & FM starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night with Election Night coverage. Final results will be on Clinton County Daily News.com as soon as they are available.
