The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a patching project to repair winter damage begins this week on I-74.
The work on I-74 will span from State Road 63 to one half of one mile east of U.S. 41. The interstate will be down to one 11′ lane in the area the contractor will be working. This work is scheduled to be completed in late November.
The work on U.S. 421 in Frankfort will span from North Jackson St. to South Hoke Ave. This portion of the project will begin in September and only last approximately one week to complete.
Milestone Contractors, L.P. was awarded the $8.3 million contract. This project will patch areas along these roadways and is part of a $150 million plan to repair winter damage and improve pavement conditions around the state.
