Each summer, the Purdue Club of Clinton County sponsors a golf outing and dinner at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course and Arborwood. Unfortunately, that had to be cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic and the need for social distancing.
However, in order to give their 2020 scholarship recipients the recognition they deserve, scholarship winners and their parents were invited to a private reception on June 30 at the large shelter house at TPA Park where they and two guests were provided a free boxed meal from Shoup’s Catering.
This year’s winners were as follows:
Rossville High School:
Matthew Haan, son of Joseph and Cynthia Haan, Matthew is entering the College of Agriculture — Ag Communications.
Reanna Lowery, daughter of Greg and Anita Lowery. Reanna is entering the College of Agriculture — Ag Education.
Frankfort High School:
Camden Cesare, son of Michael and Rebecca Cesare. Camden is entering Exploratory Studies.
Jaime Garcia, son of Jamie and Letica Garcia. Jaime is entering First Year Engineering — Mechanical.
Clinton Prairie High School:
Bailey Good, son of Russell and Clarice Good. Bailey is entering School of Management — Pre Supply Chain.
Emma Price, daughter of Kevin and Cathy Price. Emma is entering Exploratory Studies.
Clinton Central High School:
Emily Ragsdale, daughter of Chris Ragsdale and Monica Ridenour. Emily is entering College of Agriculture — Pre Vet Med.
Bob Coapstick Memorial Ag Scholarship — from Rossville High School:
Shaylin Moulton, daughter of Ryan and Sabra Moulton. Shaylin is entering College of Agriculture — Sales and Marketing.
Since 1977, the Purdue Club has awarded over $180,000 to Clinton County high school graduates from all four county high schools.
