Purdue Extension Carroll County to Host PARP Meeting for Applicators on December 5

Purdue Extension – Carroll County reminds local and surrounding county applicators to obtain their continuing education credits before the end of the year. For those unsure of their credit status, the office is available to provide assistance.

The Private Applicator Recertification Program (PARP) meeting will take place on Thursday, December 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the 4-H Building, 102 N. 4th Street, Flora, Indiana. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with coffee and donuts served at 9:00 a.m.

The meeting agenda includes:

9:00 a.m. – The Evolution of Spray Drones by Adam Shanks
10:00 a.m. – Invasive Species in Fields, Ditches, and Right-of-Ways by Geoff Schortgen
11:00 a.m. – 2025 Regulatory Topics by Wamy Webster
11:30 a.m. – NRCS Update by Celia Tharp
11:45 a.m. – Conclusion and distribution of attendance receipts
Attendees are required to bring their license number to the meeting.
