Quick Responding Frankfort Police Officers Provide Narcan And CPR At Overdose Call

Two Frankfort Police Department officers responded to reports of an overdose on Sunday that led to a quick response and the survival of the patient in Frankfort.

On Sunday, July 14 around 1:30 p.m., Frankfort Police Department officers reportedly received reports of an overdose occurring in the 1300 Block of Walnut Ave. in Frankfort, prompting officers to respond immediately to address the situation.

According to police, upon arrival officer Beau Smith administered Narcan while Deputy Chief Cesar Muñoz administered CPR to the patient while emergency medical services were enroute to the location.

The department released that the patient survived as a means of the immediate response and access to Narcan within the community.

No further information will be released at this time according to the police.
