Ralph “Danny” Timmons, 62, of Mulberry, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. He was born September 28, 1961, in Lafayette to Carl “Runt” and Claudia (Goodnight) Timmons.
Danny was a graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. He worked as a welder at several factories over his years, including Can-am and Wabash National. He loved being outside and being in nature. He was an avid sports fan, especially his Indianapolis Colts. For years, if you wanted to find him, he could be found at the Mulberry Park basketball courts. He enjoyed playing video games. But his true love was his friends and family. He never missed a family event and was happiest spending time with and taking care of those that he loved the most. He will be remembered for his positive attitude, even when it wasn’t easy to be positive. No matter how hard things may have gotten, he was always looking out for others, and caring for them however he could.
Along with his mother, Danny is survived by his life partner of the last 16 years Norma Sanders; siblings, David Timmons of Kentucky and Chris (Bob) Waugh of Frankfort; nieces and nephews, Harley Timmons and Jeremy (Tiffany) Timmons of Kentucky, Sam Waugh and Olivia (Bryce) Waugh of Frankfort, Emily (Payton) Waugh of Darlington and Jacob Sargent of Frankfort; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, a nephew, Joshua Timmons; and a great-niece, Liberty German
