Randall Ray Langston, 53, died April 30, 2 p.m. at his home in Clark County, Las Vegas of throat cancer. He was born June 29, 1964 in Lafayette, IN to Richard & Connie (Cowell) Langston. Randy was a 1982 graduate of Frankfort High School and attended College for 2 years. Randy loved people and excelled in the restaurant industry working in Chicago, IL., Miami Beach, FL, Honolulu, HI, Nashville, TN, Minneapolis, MN and Las Vegas, NV. Randy was an active member of The Temple of Eckankar in Minneapolis, MN where he was involved with volunteer work at major seminars. His hobbies include traveling, with Tibet being one of his favorite places. Randy is well known for his laughter, smiling, goodness and acceptance.
Randy was an only child and leaves behind his mother, Connie Langston (Cowell) of Minneapolis, MN and his father Richard Langston of Frankfort, IN. 1 step sister and 1 step brother. He also leaves behind 4 aunts and several nieces and nephews plus many friends and acquaintances.
Per Randy’s request, there was no public official memorial service. He was cremated with ashes scattered to the wind. There will be a headstone placed in Geetingsville cemetery in the Langston family plot for anyone who would like to visit there.
