The City Plan Commission unanimously approved the re-plat of the Oak Street addition which surrounds IU Health Wednesday night. Building Services director Don Stock said this was something that needed to be done.
“A big thing is it helps the County Courthouse. They don’t have to send out all those tax papers to the 20 or 30 lots that were there because they combined them to just four,” said Stock. “It really help the drawing of the prop that when they come in they don’t have all those lots there that don’t make sense.”
IU Health is taking the 33 lots down to four lots, two for IU Health and the other two for IU Arnett. The combined acreage for the lots is a little more than eight acres.
