Recycle and Reuse Project

The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is requesting help from the community for a recycling service project for Suncrest Elementary.
From the project leader:
“We recently joined a project called “ABC promise” where we collect various types of lids and caps. Once we reach 250 pounds- these items are turned into sustainable furniture for our school. We have a goal of getting 5 benches to replace the current ones we have that are quickly rusting out, and and 5 picnic tables for a collaborative outdoor learning environment.
The student council is looking for various businesses in the community who use these items frequently-or have a large network of participants to help us collect. Items that can be collected include various plastic lids smaller than 8 inches (peanut butter, mayonnaise, cream cheese, water and Gatorade bottle lids, hairspray caps, etc), and prescription bottles with lids.”

Items can be turned in to the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce.
