The first show of the 2021 Red Barn Summer Theatre season, “Who’s In Bed With The Butler?” sponsored by The Farmer’s Bank, will open on June 9 and run from Wednesdays through Sundays until June 20.
Michael Parker’s “Who’s In Bed With The Butler?” contains all the hallmarks of madcap comedy including mistaken identities, shifting accents, slamming doors, fruitless seduction and clueless deduction. The madness begins when the daughter of a deceased billionaire, having inherited his fortune, returns to his mansion only to find that tens of millions of dollars have been left to a mysterious trio of women. She and her lawyer soon discover that the butler holds the key to discovering her late father’s connection to these women.
“Who’s In Bed With The Butler?” features recent Oklahoma City University BFA/Acting graduate Katherine Abel. Sam Lynch an Anderson University Graduate, is back for his third season at the Barn while FHS grad and Ball State sophomore Madison Myers is back for her second. Frankfort-born stage veterans Jan McGill, Aaron Moon, Luke McLaughlin and Jordan Flora — over 70 seasons of stage experience between them–round out the rest of the talented and energetic cast. The play is directed by Red Barn artistic director Michael Taylor.
