The Hornet Hustle 5K is returning to Rossville for the first time since 2023, bringing runners, walkers and families back to the course as part of the Summer’s End Festival weekend.
The 5K will take place Saturday, August 22, 2026, beginning at 8 a.m. at Rossville Presbyterian Church.
Participants of all ages and ability levels are welcome. Whether runners are competing for a personal best, walking with friends or bringing the entire family, organizers say the Hornet Hustle is a great way to start the Summer’s End Festival weekend.
Registration is $35 through August 21 and remains $35 on race day. Race-day registration will be available from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. and will be cash only.
Those who register by August 8 are guaranteed to receive an official Hornet Hustle race T-shirt.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Rossville School Foundation, which provides classroom grants, scholarships and other educational opportunities for Rossville students.
