Thank you to everyone who Plunged, partnered, donated, volunteered or otherwise participated in the 19 Polar Plunge events across the state in 2025 to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Indiana. By taking an icy dip, you demonstrated your commitment to the cause. All proceeds directly support training and competition opportunities for the more than 19,000 Special Olympics athletes throughout the state. Fundraising continues for a little while longer, so be sure to drive people to your digital page. Or you can send your checks and cash to the state office.

These bucket-list events challenge individuals and teams to make a difference and demonstrate their commitment to the cause. Raising money for Special Olympics Indiana helps provide athletic and other opportunities as a catalyst for social change, exposing inequity and highlighting the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities to break down misperceptions and negative attitudes.
All funds raised during Polar Plunge events ensure an ever-growing number of children and adults with intellectual disabilities can participate in sports, health, education and leadership programs at no cost.
Dates are being discussed for the 2026 Polar Plunge events. Plan on events taking place on weekends throughout February and early March. Bookmark this page and check back during the summer and fall.
