The City of Frankfort Parks Department Celebrates Grand Opening of New TPA Park Crawford Family Basketball Courts

The City of Frankfort is thrilled to invite community members, local leaders, and basketball enthusiasts of all ages to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the brand-new Crawford Family Basketball Courts at TPA Park. The celebration will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. at TPA Park.
The newly renovated courts represent a $75,000 investment in local quality-of-life and recreational infrastructure, made possible through a strong partnership between city resources and community support. Over $20,000 was raised through generous donations from local businesses, organizations, and residents who rallied together to bring this revitalized space to life.
“We are absolutely ecstatic to see this project come to fruition for our community,” said Mayor Judy Sheets. “Parks are the heart of Frankfort, and seeing our residents, especially our youth, have access to safe, upgraded facilities is something we take great pride in. This project is a perfect example of what happens when a community comes together. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make these courts a reality, and we can’t wait to see kids and families shooting hoops here for years to come!”
The completion of the Crawford Family Basketball Courts was made possible through the generous contributions and dedicated support of our sponsors. The City of Frankfort extends a heartfelt thank you to Crawford Family Fence, NHK Seating of America, Ransom Family, Center Township of Clinton County, Circle Supply, Brett Pitzer, AMVC, Hi Tech Label, IU Health, and Clinton County Highway Department.
Bring your family, bring a basketball, and help us celebrate this exciting milestone for TPA Park and the City of Frankfort
