
Richard G. “Dick” Lee, 97, of Rossville, formerly of Monticello, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Milner Health in Rossville. He was born February 16, 1929, in Frankfort to Bernardo and Mabel (Gardner) Lee. He married Norma Miller in 1951, and she preceded him in passing on September 1, 2008.
Dick was a graduate of Frankfort High School. He worked for Fairfield Manufacturing for 49 years, before he retired. He served in the United States National Guard. Dick enjoyed racing go-karts and bowling. He loved his time at the lake and gardening. He was a hardworking man and believed in doing the best you could at all times. All that knew him respected and loved him. His kind heart will be missed.
Dick is survived by his children, Rick (Sherrie) Lee, Robert (Kamya) Lee, Marcia (Ed) Barry, and Cindy (Roy Temperino) Martin; a sister, Marian Guffy; sister-in-law, Miriam Crose; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Along with his wife, Dick was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen and Barbara.
Per Dick’s wishes no services will be held. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel in Rossville is assisting with the arrangements.
