Rick “Rosie” Brown

Rick “Rosie” Brown, 57, of Frankfort, died October 26, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Gallatin, TN on February 9, 1964 to the late Paul H. & Anna Joann (Dockery) Brown. He married Connie Marie Shannon on November 5, 1983 in Frankfort and she survives.

Rosie attended Clinton Central High School.  He was a lifelong truck driver, working for Pelling & Pelling Trucking for several years.  Rosie didn’t know a stranger and enjoyed NASCAR, racing, demo derby, auctions and use to drive mini stock race cars.

Surviving along with his Wife: Connie M. Brown of Frankfort are his 4 Sons: Nicholas (Danelle) Brown of Elwood, Richard (Sandra) Brown Jr. of Frankfort, Chad Shannon of Frankfort, and Jeremy Shannon of Elwood; 2 Sisters: Darlene (Joe) Hufford of Frankfort and Rosemary (Dwayne) Shafer of Frankfort; 2 Brothers: Gary (Brenda) Brown of Frankfort and Paul Junior (Melanie) Brown of Frankfort; Several Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Big Dave Shaw and Jay Bray and an uncle, Charles Dockery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, Ind.  Donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
