Ricky R. Sheets, 55, of Frankfort, died at 12:45 p.m. November 1 2017 at Witham Hospital, Lebanon, Ind. after an extended illness. He was born September 12, 1962 in Frankfort, to Melvin L. & Joyce (Nipper) Sheets. He was previously married to Miriam (Cline) Howe.
Ricky was a graduate of Clinton Central High School and attended Vincennes University. He was a long-time bartender at the Frankfort Country Club and worked for the City of Frankfort Street Department for several years. Ricky was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed the Beatles, Miami Dolphins, and old cars, especially his 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
He is survived by: companion: Laurie Kimball of Frankfort, father: Melvin Sheets of Frankfort, brother, Charles Derrick Sheets of Rossville, 2 daughters: Kaleigh E. Sheets of Frankfort and Olivia B. Sheets of Kirklin. He was preceded in death by his mother and a daughter, Erin N. Sheets.
Services: Visitation will be 10-1
1 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
