Several road projects are underway in Frankfort this week, and motorists are advised to plan ahead for possible delays and detours.
Frankfort Water Works has closed E. Armstrong Street from S. Clay Street to S. Harrison Street for utility work. In addition, East Street is closed between Ohio Street and Washington Avenue and will remain closed until tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Frankfort Street Department is conducting milling and paving work on Washington Street from Columbia to Monon and Clinton Street from Columbia to Taylor. Drivers traveling through these areas should expect traffic delays and use alternate routes when possible.
