Several road closures are affecting motorists in the area as local departments conduct work and maintenance.
W. Jackson Street in Frankfort will be closed for the remainder of the day between 450 W and Monroe Street. The closure is being handled by Frankfort Sewer.
The Clinton County Highway Department has also announced that Freeman Street will be closed throughout the day between Prairie Avenue and Krug Road.
In addition, Indiana Street will be closed between Gas Line Road and State Road 38 for the next several hours.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution around work zones, follow posted detours and allow extra time when traveling through affected areas. Closure times are subject to change as work progresses.
