The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that temporary lane closures will occur on State Road 32 between Shannondale and Lebanon beginning at the end of July and extending through October.
Beginning on or after Monday, July 29, crews are slated to begin flagging operations between County Road 1175 West and Interstate 65 between Shannondale and Lebanon with the first phase of the project involving road resurfacing and shoulder strengthening.
The first phase is expected to extend through October with weather permitting, but the completion date will be subject to change.
The department issued a reminder for all drivers to utilize caution while traveling through the work zone, especially with the work taking place near Western Boone Junior and Senior High School in Thorntown.
