The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary that happened early this morning on West Armstrong road. Chief Deputy Todd Lappin with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department says it appears a shot was fired by the suspect and says that started some rumors throughout the community that businesses are on lock down which is not true and also said there is no active shooter at this time.
