Robert “Bob” Lewis West, 61 of Frankfort, passed away at his residence, July 17, 2020. He was born September 17, 1958 in Frankfort to Richard and Gracie (Harness) West, Sr. On July 16, 1991, Bob married Stella Davis in Science Hill, KY.
Bob had attended school in Frankfort. He had formerly worked at Bolton Hardware Company in Somerset, KY as a delivery driver. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, horses, riding his motorcycle with Stella, old cars, his old truck, go-karts, playing poker – where he was known as ‘Big Sexy’, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was born and raised in Frankfort but moved to the Monticello/Somerset, KY area for about 20 years before moving back Frankfort.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his son, Robert Joyce of Winona, Missouri; daughters, Amy Renee West (Tim Bower) of Rossville and Julie Ann (Ryan) Coy of Frankfort; brothers, Randy (Leigh) West and Carl (Linda) West of Frankfort; sisters, Patsy Miller and Debbie (Darrell) Chriswell of Monticello, KY; grandchildren, Lakoda, Destin, Beau, Conner, Kinsley, Vinny, Madison, Corbin, Macy and Kaidence and a great grandchild Colton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Grover, Richard Jr, and Henry West.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Genda Funeral Home from 4:00pm to the beginning of the funeral service at 6:00pm. Chaplain Zachary Rainey will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Genda Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
