Robert E. “Blue” Everman, 75, a life-long Clinton County resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at his home in Frankfort. He was born March 8, 1943, in Clinton County, to James and Bonnie (Ambers) Everman. On April 8, 1972, he married Donna A. Bagley in Frankfort; she survives.
After attending schools around Clinton County, Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked at Ingram Richardson, Hinshaw Roofing, Bausback, Pete’s Feed, and Clinton County Disposal before retiring in 2004. Bob was a life-time member of the Eagles and member of the V.F.W. and American Legion; he enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his son, Richard Everman, of Frankfort; daughter, Lisa (Sam) Cottrell, of Frankfort; brother, Richard (Becky) Everman, of Noblesville; sisters, Patricia (Nelson) Milikan, Annette Faucett, Muriel (Jeff) Smith, and Tina (Ronnie) Abbott, all of Frankfort, and Cathy (Jim) Dickerson, of Flora, IL; five grandchildren, Richard, Steven, Hannah, Robert, and Jacob; and five great grandchildren with two on the way.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, John Faucett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 1:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Dr. David Fry will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin with military graveside honors. Memorials in Bob’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
