Robert Eugene Moore, 85, of Kokomo, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 20, 1933 in Frankfort to William Thomas & Gladys (Evans) Moore. He married Ruth Ann Harvey on November 17, 1990 and she survives.
Mr. Moore was a 1951 graduate of Sugar Creek Township School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Moore was a farmer and also worked at General Motors Delco in Kokomo. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Sheridan, Ind.
He is survived by: Wife: Ruth Ann Moore of Kokomo, 3 Daughters: Cheryl C. (Kent) Remsen of Kokomo, Cynthia Joan (Roger G.) In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant grandson, a brother, Herbert Moore, and a daughter-in-law, Rita Armstrong.
Funeral Service:
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with Military Rites will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Boys Town National Research Hospital.
