The championships have not been verified and with the two of them, no one is sure of the claim.

During his tenure, Bob and his team developed materials for the Boeing 777 and won the highest ALCOA award for their achievement. Lois and Bob moved to Hanover, Germany where Bob would launch ALCOA’s first international Extrusion Division in 1993. After two years abroad, then moving back to Indiana, he retired after 35 years of service, moving to Tucson, AZ. While in Tucson, Bob worked on his golf game and without having a huge lawn to mow, came out of retirement within a year as a private consultant for projects around the globe, finally retiring in Land O’ Lakes, FL where they enjoyed wonderful neighbors & friends.
While the kids were growing up, Bob could be found out by the pond or pool grilling a mean steak for family & friends, shooting a round of hoops with neighbors, hosting family birthday parties, Thanksgiving feasts and Christmas day celebrations.
Bob’s children would like to thank their bonus mom, Lois, for her devotion to their dad especially as his health declined, she was his rock. Honoring Bob’s wishes, Lois moved them back home to Frankfort, IN, where he has been surrounded by family and friends.
