Robert John Hastings, 68, of rural Frankfort, died Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Franciscan Health East, Lafayette. He was born August 6, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI to Edward Gene & Irene Rose (Stich) Hastings. He married Jerrie Heavilon Goff on August 21, 1981 in Aurora, CO and she survives.
Bob was a six-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid guitar player.

stings of rural Frankfort, 2 Sons: Don (Catrina) Goff-Hastings of Frankfort and Michael (Christie) Hastings of Englewood, CO, Daughter: Lisa Hastings of Noblesville, 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nickie Lorene Hastings in 1988, granddaughter, Lilly Nicole Hastings and 2 brothers, Richard Hastings and Jim Hastings.
Funeral Service:
Visiting will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. in Bunnell Cemetery with Bob’s son, Don officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor’s choice. The family would encourage and desire casual attire be worn during the visitation and graveside service of Bob. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.
