Robert L. Treece, 72, Pyrmont, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at his home. He was born in Lebanon on May 9, 1950, to Curtis and Dorothy (Jeffers) Treece. On March 27, 1993, he married Rosemarie Bowen. She survives.
Robert was a 1968 graduate of East Tipp High School. He worked for Fox Trucking, Brim Concrete, Ryder, and Fairfield Manufacturing. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time in nature, and mowing his lawn. He loved spending time with his family.
Along with his wife of 29 years, Robert is survived by his children, Todd (Nicki Stock) Stringer, Angie (Larry) Gibson, Tanya Treece, Imajewel Stringer; brother, David (Jill) Treece; sisters, Judy (Steve) Dunbar, Cathy (Charles) Haines, Sharon (Rick) Perdue; grandchildren, Jasmine Stringer, Makayla Walker, Anden Wells, Austin Gibson, Kody Gibson, and Talia Stringer; and great-grandchildren, Juna and Imajewel.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Genda Funeral Home~Rossville Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10 am at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Perdue will officiate. Burial will follow in Pyrmont Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s honor to his family to assist with funeral expenses.
