Robert Norman “Bob” Waggoner, 92, of Frankfort, IN. died August 4, 2021 at Springhill Village in Terre Haute, Ind. He was born on February 8, 1929 in Epson, IN. to Claude Clarence and Gladys Jewel (Carroll) Waggoner. He married Marilyn Rose Roberson on June 7, 1952 in Connersville and she survives.
Bob was a graduate of Epson High School and Frankfort Pilgrim College. He was a self-employed contractor and owned and operated “Waggoner Rentals”. He was a member of Bethel Bible Holiness Church where he taught Sunday School until 2015. He served on the general board for Bible Holiness Denomination for over 30 years. Bob loved to play “Sorry Charlie”.
Surviving along with his wife; Marilyn is his daughter: Gloria (Wendell) Kirkman of Terre Haute, son: Keith (Sharon) Waggoner of Frankfort, sisters: Marcella Swan of Marion and Freida James of Indianapolis, brother: John (Iris) Waggoner of Frankfort, 6 grandchildren: Wendell (Lisa) Kirkman, Marsena (Dwight) Hatfield, Rosanne (Chris) Knew, Keith (Lori) Waggoner II, Robert (Amanda) Waggoner, and Sharilyn (Eric) Boyd, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Wilma Reynolds.
Funeral Services:
Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the funeral home. Brother Steven Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort. Memorial donations may be made in Bob’s honor to Bethel Bible Holiness Church, 1100 S.
