Robert Palmer

Robert Palmer, 81, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, at his home. He was born September 1, 1939, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to John N. and Vielda (Spencer) Palmer. He married Meire Honorio on September 16, 2003, in Cassopolis, Michigan: she survives.

Robert graduated from Mishawaka High School then enlisted in the US Air Force. He attended Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma then went on to study with Morris Cerullo and Lester Sumrall. Robert loved preaching Jesus Christ, his family and many friends, spending time on the water and was a very compassionate loving husband and father.

He was the former owner of Palmer Construction Corporation in Mishawaka, evangelized in over 45 nations where loved preaching the gospel, was the Senior Pastor at World Harvest Christian Center at Pennsauken, NJ, then served as Senior Pastor from 2004 to 2018 at the New Life in Christ Ministries in Frankfort.

Robert is survived by his wife, Meire; children, Jacqueline Palmer, and Joshua Palmer, Terri (Jim) Parrish, Nathan Palmer, Robert Palmer, Jr., and adopted daughters, Berta and Melissa; brothers, Jack (Diane) Palmer and Harry (Nancy) Palmer; sister-in-law, Fran Palmer; grandchildren, Jonathan Parrish, Londyn Parrish, Faith Palmer, and great grandson, Maverick Parrish and his former wife, Nancy Palmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Keith Palmer and a grandson, Steven Parrish.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Heart of Fire Church  3000 E. Wabash St. in Frankfort.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery with military honors.
