Roberta R. Morris, 92, of Frankfort, passed away December 20, 2020 at Mulberry Health Retirement Community. She was born on August 29, 1928 in Clinton County, Indiana to Robert and Ruth (Gephart) Rice. She married Max W. Morris on March 1, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2017.
Roberta attended Scroggy and Kilmore Schools and was a 1944 graduate of Rossville High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Boyleston Baptist Church. She loved family time – playing volleyball with family and attending the kids and grandkids sporting events. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, square dancing and loved her cards – especially Euchre.
Surviving are her Son: Wayne R. Morris of Frankfort; Daughter: Tracey Byrne of Michigantown; Son-in-law: Steve Mang of Kokomo; 6 Grandchildren: Rich (Karen) Smith, Reanna (Travis) Fultz, Ryan (Camey) Morris, Nicki Whiteman (Brian Crenshaw), Jeremy (Katherine “Kat”) Mang, and Joshua (Erica) Mang; and 10 Great-Grandchildren: Samantha, Taylor, Logan, Max, Landree, Kaleb, Rileigh, Piper, Delaney, and Harper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Max, 3 daughters: Rebecca Jane Morris, Sharon Rose Morris, and Linda K. Mang, 2 sisters: Elizabeth Ogden and Eleanor Coleman, and her brother: Robert Rice.
Family Service were held at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Burial was in Kilmore Cemetery in Kilmore, IN.
