Roger Addison McClain, 76, of Frankfort, passed away September 5, 2026 at Mulberry Health. He was born on December 20, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to John & Carolyn (Dunn) McClain. He married Sue Ellen Fearrin on May 12, 1973 and she preceded him in death on December 27, 2025.
Roger was a 1968 graduate of Frankfort High School and earned his Bachelors of Science degree in 1972 in Industrial Management from Purdue University. He was a lifelong farmer. He attended First Christian Church. Roger loved spending time with family and traveling with Sue. He also enjoyed training standard bred horses and collecting coins.
Surviving are his sons: Matt (Brooke) McClain of Palmyra, NY and Mark (Lydia) McClain of Michigantown, his sister: Suzanne Taylor of Frankfort, his grandchildren: Cynthia, Jocelyn, Preston, Ethan, Audrey, and Isabelle (Eli) Powell, along with his great-grandson: Cyrus and a great-granddaughter on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, step-mom whom raised him, Evelyn Eileen Eggloff, and his siblings: Steve McClain, Kelly McClain, Todd McClain, Karen Miller, and Julia Zurschmiede.
