Roger M. Lamb, 78, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at IU Health Frankfort Hospital. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 26, 1941 to Grover and Yvonne (Wilkins) Lamb. He worked as a Tool & Die Engineer for BorgWarner in Chicago before retiring and moving to Frankfort and working at Steel Parts Manufacturing, Inc. until his retirement from there. He enjoyed having monthly gatherings with his former co-workers from BorgWarner. He was an avid fisherman, an amazing woodworker, and had a passion for working on old cars. But his true love was his caring for his family, especially his wife, Judith (Smith) Lamb, who he was devoted to and gave the highest of care to until her passing.
Roger is survived by his children; Richard (Christina) Manchester of Frankfort, Bob (Laurie) Lamb of Hoffman Estates, IL, Christine (Paul) Schletz of St. Charles, IL, Jill (Eric) Stoneberg of Atlanta, GA, and Beth (Mark) Busch of Hoffman Estates, IL; sister, Peggy (Don) Navigato; brother, Grahame (Nadine) Lamb; a sister-in-law, Ethel Lamb; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed and Bill Lamb; and sister-in-law, Sue Lamb.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Genda Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
